Navarro ISD Announces Transition to Skyward Student Information System for 2026-2027 Registration

As Navarro ISD continues to grow, we are committed to providing our students and families with the best tools available. We are excited to announce that for the 2026-2027 school year, our district will transition from Ascender to Skyward as our new Student Information System and Parent Portal. 

The move to Skyward brings several benefits to our families, offering a more modern and user-friendly experience for everyone.

  • Enhanced Parent Portal: A more intuitive interface to track your student's progress with easier viewing of attendance, grades, and comprehensive student profiles.
  • Streamlined Communication: A centralized and efficient hub for registration, mandated parental consents, digital forms, student data, and family surveys. 

To ensure a smooth transition, please take note of the specific registration process for your student:

Returning Students

Skyward Soft Launch. Skyward will be partially live to ensure returning families can succesfully access the platform and verify that all of your children are viewable in your account, confirming their data migrated over correctly from Ascender.

Didn’t receive an email from Skyward with login credentials? Click here to submit a Google Form help ticket. 

July 22

New and Returning Students

Online Registration opens in Skyward. More information and instructions will be provided to create an account. New families will need to request a new Skyward account through the link provided on the New Student Registration Page.

Opens July 27

New to Navarro ISD

Students NEW to Navarro ISD will Complete In-Person Registration after Completing Skyward online registration. A list of required documentation can be found on our website.

We understand that changing systems can bring questions. Our teams are working hard to ensure this transition is as seamless as possible for families, students and staff. More detailed "next steps" and login instructions for Skyward will be shared as we get closer to our summer launch.
