Navarro ISD is pleased to launch a new platform that provides parents and guardians access to our library management system, Follett Destiny.

Through this portal, you will be able to view your student’s books currently checked-out as well as their check-out history from their campus library. Within the portal, parents may select materials their child may not be allowed to check-out or access outside the school library.

Click here to view detailed instructions on how to access the Follett Destiny portal.

  • The Library Materials Aquistion List is in accordance with SB 13 and Board Policy EFB(LOCAL)

  • In accordance with SB 13, a parent, a district employee, or a person residing in the district may submit a written challenge to any library material in the school library catalog or an appeal to the board of trustees of an action taken by the district in response to a received written challenge.

A board of trustees must act on a written challenge at the first open meeting held after the 90th day after receipt of a written challenge. The board must act on an appeal at the first open meeting held after the appeal is filed.
