Navarro ISD Celebrates Outstanding Staff with Annual Honors

Geronimo, TX – March 27, 2025 – Navarro Independent School District is pleased to announce the recipients of its annual Campus Teacher of the Year, Paraprofessional of the Year, and Support Staff of the Year awards. Superintendent Epley, along with Dr. David Kauffman, Director of Human Resources and School Leadership, Wendy McMullen, Director of Academic Services, and Trustee Becki Stephenson, personally surprised the deserving honorees on Monday, March 25th, with the exciting news.
These prestigious awards recognize the exceptional teaching skills, positive influence within their schools, professionalism, and genuine care of all students’ academic, social, and emotional well-being. The honorees are selected through a process of peer and colleague nominations and voting, highlighting the high esteem in which they are held by their fellow educators, colleagues and administration.
The 2024-2025 Navarro ISD Campus Award Winners are:
Elementary School:
- Teacher of the Year: Troy Spanton
- Paraprofessional of the Year: Matt Pullin
- Support Staff of the Year: Kat Champion
Intermediate School:
- Teacher of the Year: Liz Munster
- Paraprofessional of the Year: Amy Anderson
- Support Staff of the Year: Keli Seidel
Junior High School:
- Teacher of the Year: Hailey Herzog
- Support Staff of the Year: Nicole Francis
High School:
- Teacher of the Year: Stephanie Jeffery
- Support Staff of the Year: Dana Andrews
