*Students who are 4 years old on or before September 1, 2025, and meet eligibility requirement, are able to enroll for Pre-K for the 2025-2026 school year.

Please bring all required documentation and forms to Pre-K Roundup.

Pre-K Eligibility

To be eligible for the Pre-K program, your child must be 4 years old by Sept. 1 and meet at least one of following requirements as required by Texas law. No exceptions can be made:

Qualify for Free/Reduced Lunch:
- Two most recent paycheck stubs for each member of the household, or
- Current tax return if self employed, or
- Current TANF or SNAP eligibility letter
Military Qualifiers (one of the following):
- Verification of U.S. Department of Defense Photo ID
- Statement of Service
- Copy of Death Certificate
- Copy of Purple Heart Orders
- Copy of Official Letter from Commander
- Copy of a Letter from U.S. Department of Veteran’s Affairs
- Documentation that Service Member is Missing in Action

Language Qualifiers
- Unable to speak and/or comprehend the English Language
- Fill out Home Language Survey (provided by school)
- Language test will be administered to the child
Foster Care Qualifier
- Verification Letter of Pre-K eligibility from DFPS
Homeless Qualifier
- As defined by 43 U.S.C. Section 11302
Star of Texas Award Qualifiers
- Copy of the Resolution (certificated) awarded to the parent of a child
